A very productive day for the Prototype Staff. Plus I’ll be getting a new computer very soon

Team Updates

  • Discussed and designed the engine’s combat system.
  • Developed the guilt mechanic to be used in-game

Engine Development updates

  • Added the implementation and addition of weapons to the game.
  • Implemented the interaction between the player and weapons.
  • Added the implementation and addition of defensive armors to the game.
  • Implemented the interaction between the player and defensive armor.
  • Implemented the interaction between enemies and items.
  • Added the functionality to allow the user to select (cycle through) the weapons in his/her inventory, and activate them.
  • Added the functionality to allow the user to select (cycle through) the armors in his/her inventory, and activate them.
  • Added a small icon to our main game play screen, utilized to display the player’s active weapon.
  • Finished a preliminary implementation of the engine’s pause menu.
